Born in Northampton England in the early eighties. Christopher as a child loved the Circus and the different variety of acts. He always wanted to be a clown much to the distaste of his family who thought this in not the best career choice to have. He loved musicals such as the Labyrinth and Wizard of Oz. He would often dress up in costumes recreating his favourite scenes this would often lead to him wearing his sister's dresses. His family wished then they let him dress as a clown instead. He can't recall who or when but one Christmas he received a Paul Daniels magic set from that moment he was hooked, and was watching as much magic TV shows as possible. Back then they was not hard to find Wayne Dobson's Kind of magic, Paul Daniels magic show to name a few.
The Mad House
No not his family home, this was a costume and novelty shop he would often visit almost every day just like Mr Ben, he would go to the back try on costumes and leave without a single purchase. Except for the odd prank hear and there such as fake vomit, poo, jumping beens and whoopee cushions. It was later that the kind lady in the shop showed him a magic trick that shocked him and could not believe that he had an arsenal of magic at his fingertips the entire time. The trick was six dice in a box the dice was set from one to six Christopher rolled a dice when the lid was removed from the box they all changed to his rolled number. From that day Christopher spent all his pocket money in the shop.
Focusing on Creativity
Christopher's Nanny and Poppy fully supported his love of the stage and put him into the stage school Stagecoach he never missed a single class and loved all aspects of the theatre. He was involved in shows won the shield in 1998 for the Most improved student and got chosen to appear in a National Commercial. He owes his career to his Nanny (Joan) and wants to pay her back one as all she wanted was to see his name up in lights.
Mending the lock
Due to alot of Drama and Christopher is not talking about the stage here. Circumstances beyond his and families control the locks on his house needed to be changed. Christopher remembers sitting on the stairs watching the locksmith work. He thought no other than to grap some magic tricks and show him. After Christopher's Mum apologies for her sons eagerness to show off the locksmiths left and came back with magic tricks of his own this was no ordinary locksmith this was no other than Mick Hanslick. Mick is now sadly no longer with us but he was Christopher's first ever mentor at the age of 13. Christopher's love for magic only grew from there.
Magic Clubs
Chris did not know such places existed it was Mick who told him that almost every town and city has at least one not to mention the most prestigious one in England The Magic Circle. Christopher is still on his journey to join The Magic Circle and also wants to visit and become a member of The School of Magical Arts The Magic Castle Las Vegas.
His Passion
Its obvious to say that his passion lies in close up magic and is never without a trick in his pocket.
